Senior Investor Relations Analyst

ELS is currently seeking a qualified Senior Investor Relations Analyst to work from our Corporate Office in Chicago. The Senior Investor Relations Analyst will serve as a key point of contact to the firm's executive team.  This role requires a motivated individual who will use a proactive approach to work with other team members and departments. The Senior Investor Relations Analyst must have the ability to manage tight reporting deadlines and be very detail oriented.

Job duties include:

  • Provide financial/analytical support to management and complete ‘ad-hoc’ analysis in support of the investor relations team as needed.
  • Review and summarize sell-side analyst reports and financial models. 
  • Aggregate information from external financial, government, and news sources to update management on relevant trends and opinions on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis. 
  • Prepare, draft and distribute investor presentation, analyst conference, and earnings conference call materials.
  • Assist with the financial modeling and analysis of peer groups.
  • Data gathering and analysis of internal operations through the use of various reporting tools.
  • Assist with investor outreach by maintaining the investor relations contact list and CRM database, and researching investor inquiries and requests for information.
  • Monitor and maintain the investor relations corporate website.
  • Research investor targeting opportunities and institutional ownership trends.
  • Set up earnings conference calls, investor/analyst conference meetings, and maintain investor relations calendar.

Requirements include:

  • Five+ years experience in investor relations or other related fields; real estate preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of valuation and modeling techniques used by investors and analysts.
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; comfortable with IR focused software and tools; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to travel.
