Assistant Manager

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Manager in Fall City, WA.  This person will  assist with the day‐to‐day functions of the property management department and the functions of the Resort Manager to which he/she is assigned.  The focus of job is to support the Resort Manager in all aspects of management pertaining to the client’s property.  They are the liaison between the guests and the Resort Manager for maintenance and many guest issues at the properties.  

Job duties include:

  • Greet guests when they arrive and introduce them to the types of units available as well as the property’s amenities.
  • Respond to guest questions and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Work with the maintenance and custodial staff at the property.
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance calls to sites.
  • Assist with daily follow up and training of maintenance, housekeeping and ranger (guest check-in) staff
  • Establish rapport with guests so they always feel valued and appreciated.
  • Ordering of inventory and obtaining estimates for new projects.
  • Processing Purchase Orders, vendor payments
  • Resolve guest reservation issues in online reservation system
  • Calendar management and general administrative tasks.
  • Assist with housekeeping, ranger duties, activities and events as needed
  • Be the face of ELS standards to our customers and guests
  • Assist with the management of Long Term Stay program (follow up on inquiry, set up reservations in system, obtain insurance and process paperwork)

Requirements are:

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, and other web based applications including email and financial systems. Previous experience in online reservation systems preferred.
  • 3 or more years experience in cash handling preferred
  • A current driver's license.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • The candidate must have experience associated with administrative duties and possess strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple job functions.  
  • A strong background in customer service
