Front Desk Receptionist/Supervisor

O'Connell's Jellystone Park is one of the largest campground resorts in the area. We have been in business for over 35 years, creating memories that last lifetimes.

We are currently hiring for Front Desk Clerks and Supervisors. These roles are the hub of the park. Employees will answer phones, assists guests with things from reservations to park questions and monitor the coming and going of vendors and guests from the entry gate. There is also light cleaning and daily paperwork, along with cash handling requirements. May also be asked to assist in other areas of the park as needed. Supervisor roles are on call with mandatory overtime as needed, with supervision of up to 10 other staff members required. 

  • Energetic and friendly-The first step is to create a welcome atmosphere with everyone you interact with. 
  • Basic computer skills- Role deals heavily with a windows based PC. Strong typing skills are preferred
  • Pay is based on experience
  • Supervisor roles are available with higher starting wages and responsibility.

Job Duties include:

  • Process community A/P's in an automated accounting system i.e. Catalyst
  • (For MHC properties only) Assist in the monthly collection and processing of rent checks; this includes      collections, deposits and data entry in MRI
  • (For MHC properties only) Assist with the processing of paperwork for residents upon move-in and move-out, including faxing resident applications for background checks and data entry of move in/out data
  • Assist in the processing of MasterCard CCER reconciliations
  • Create and edit spreadsheets and correspondence as directed
  • Order office supplies as directed
  • Maintain community files, including but not limited to, resident files, financials, MEF's, operating reports,    income statements, etc
  • Greet visitors as needed
  • Work closely with management in developing an integral team that effectively represents the quality and professionalism of ELS
  • Maintain open communications with all regional staff and community
  • Research and carry out the implementation of ELS sponsored activities
  • Act as backup to the sales staff by handling customer inquiries via telephone and tours of property as needed
  • Make photocopies and sends facsimiles as needed
  • Attend and participate in training programs and seminars as requested
  • Run errands such as delivering various communications to guests or residents as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of office experience
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to details
  • Must be able to type 40 wpm
  • Computer proficiency required, Word and Excel preferred
  • Experience with automated accounting systems a plus
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to handle the sales traffic
